Rachel Jerome Ferraro is a photographic artist currently living and working in upstate New York, where she is an Assistant Professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Her personal work explores themes which relate the quotidian to a broader world, employing photography, three dimensional objects, and the moving image.
Rachel has guest lectured at Yale University School of Art, the School of Visual Arts, Fashion Institute of Technology, the University of Southern Mississippi, and the International Center of Photography. She has also participated in panel discussions at The Art Directors Club, PhotoEast Expo and the American Society of Media Photographers.
Rachel's work has been exhibited internationally, and has garnered grants from the Mississippi Arts Commission as well as awards from PDN Photo Annuals, PDN Digital Awards, Graphis, American Photography (AI-AP), and Communication Arts Photo Annuals. Her personal work was featured in Fraction Magazine, Issue 54.
